Clyde Allen Williams Jr., a Shreveport native, is the youngest of three children. A graduate of Huntington High school, he went on to Stephen F. Austin State University where received his bachelor's with graduate studies in film and writing. Contrary to popular belief he is still alive and involved in various plays and films.
After a victorious battle with cancer, Clyde started a page where people could share their cancer stories called People With Cancer S.U.C.K (Suvive Under Conditions that Kill). Contrary to popular belief, he is still alive and involved in various plays and films.
Coming from a family of educators, Clyde was expected to become a teacher. He decided if he was going to be talking to a room full of drunk people who were laughing at him anyway, he'd rather do it on a stage than in a classroom.
Nearly six years ago, Clyde began using his natural affinity for comedy as a stand up comedian. Through years of trial and error, Clyde decided that the easiest way to learn something, is the hard way.
As a writer, Clyde has tried to bring his comedy to life through sketches, some of which can be found on his Instagram channel @therealclydewilliams, where he feels the most comfortable being as fake as he can.
Clyde has always been a fan of the cinema. As an actor, he has played roles in numerous short films around the southern region of the United States, and had starring and supporting roles in several features. As a writer and director, his passion for film and the wonderment it can bring is as strong as ever.
